WhatsApp group video calling Feature on Android beta
WhatsApp to allow users to add 3 participants in telephone feature seen on Android beta. WhatsApp beta for Android was upgraded with a brand new feature that allows people add up to 3 participants in a group call. The feature would mean a total of four people, including the individual who started it, will be a part of this group telephone. Based on a report in WABetaInfo, a fan site that tests the new WhatsApp attributes, the feature is available for Android beta version 2.18.39. It’s unclear whether the capability to add participants was seen for voice telephone or video telephone on WhatsApp.
The report asserts the feature can be obtained for everybody in the future, although an exact timeline isn’t known. WhatsApp group voice calls feature was seen on the 2.17.70 beta WhatsApp upgrade, in October last year. It had been earlier reported that the Facebook-owned messaging program was working on a group voice telephone option as well and could release the feature this season. Facebook already has a feature on Messenger. With over 1.5 billion monthly active users, WhatsApp is available in over 50 different languages around the globe and in 10 Indian languages. India is among the biggest markets for the service, with over 200 million active users.
WhatsApp recently established its Business program for small and medium-sized businesses in India. WhatsApp Business App is free-to-download and the program is aimed at making it simpler for businesses to connect with customers. WhatsApp’s delete for everybody feature lets folks withdraw sent messages within seven minutes of sending them. The feature isn’t confined to messages like this works for pictures, videos, GIFS, contact cards, as well. Meanwhile, the WhatsApp is believed to be working on the capability to edit sent messages as well.
