Sui Dhaaga: Anushka Sharma plays the role of the embroiderer, and Varun Dhawan plays the tailor. The nicely crafted look of the two actors is setting the tone of the movie right which boosts effort of Make In India. Earlier on Monday, fans of Anushka Sharma were introduced into her spooky self at a new poster of her March 2 release Pari. And later in the afternoon, the actor released her very first look at her upcoming movie Sui Dhaaga which also stars Varun Dhawan. In the very first look of Sui Dhaaga, Anushka is a simpleton named Mamta who wears a saree, bangles, and vermilion, and blushes like any 1990 or 80 newly married girl would.
Varun Dhawan is a young man Mauji who takes you back to the past age with his moustached look. The movie, Directed by Dum Laga Ke Haisha manager Sharat Katariya and bankrolled by Maneesh Sharma under the banner of Yash Raj Films, will hit the theatres on Sept 28, a Couple of Days ahead of Gandhi Jayanti. The other cast of the movie is yet to be announced.
