Microsoft Surface Book 2 and Laptop Surface Announced

Microsoft Surface Book 2 and Laptop Surface: New Affordable Variants Announced.

Together with the new Surface Guru, Microsoft Surface Book 2 and Microsoft Surface Laptop are the most recent professional PCs set in motion by the Redmond giant. These computers provide high-end specs plus they’re very compact and versatile, but they’re also known to be very expensive. But now, the business has decided to formally reveal two versions of those devices, for individuals that want a pro laptop computer, but have a budget. Whilst the standard corded Laptop comes along with an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor based on the configuration, the new cheaper version that has just been declared comes along with a less strong Intel Core M3.

It’s still a great CPU, but it’s only a middle range processor for a laptop. Further, this version comes along with 4 GB of Memory and 128 GB of storage. Due to this lower end hardware aspect, the cost drops to only $799, whilst the standard version that is already in the marketplace costs $999. Microsoft’s Surface Book 2, in its version with a 13.5 inches display, was released in a more affordable version as well, but it’s more powerful compared to the cheaper Surface Laptop. From the new version, Microsoft Surface Book 2 sports an Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB of Memory and 128 GB of storage.

The version that is already available begins from $1499, while this one costs only $1199. The rest of the specifications of the laptops stays the same as the real versions. Microsoft Surface Laptop has a metallic design with Alcantara coated computer keyboard, a 15.6 inches display with a resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels, and also a multi-gesture trackpad. Microsoft Surface Book 2 has 13.5 inches touchscreen monitor with a resolution of 3240 x 2160 pixels, a removable keyboard, and also the support to the Surface Dial as well as the surface pen for handwriting and drawing with a high precision.

The Surface Guru has been an essential instrument for the PC market. It proved it is possible to make a fantastic device that can make the same heavy lifting as a traditional laptop computer, but double up as a fantastic tablet with touch screen and pen input. And that created a totally new market segment. I’d prefer to see Microsoft produce more advanced computing adventures as opposed to try and pick up people looking for cheap and low powered me to apparatus.
